How To Train Your Dragon
The Skirt: Romanesque. Is believed to be made up of two layers. The top is red leather with silver spikes. The two first layers of spikes are smaller than the last two. Above these is a belt? or something that resembles a belt made up of white and black “bird skulls”. She wears a brown pouch on her right hand side.
The second layer is brown and pointed. And appears to be of varying lengths.
Beneath this she wears rough but warm looking blue leggings tucked into brown fur boots.
Top: On her top is a green, brown striped top of varying shades. There is a hit of pale blue and lavender. Astrid also wears silver metallic shoulder cuffs, attached to the shirt with those same bird skulls. Her arms are wrapped in pale brown and attached with cord, though the ends are looped over her fingers.
She wears a brown leather headband with black studs.
Patterns: 1, 2. These are mainly for the roman style skirt I’m afraid.
For the skirt is reccomended to simply make a template for one strip of leather and then use it to make the rest.

Shoulder Armour Tutorials: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.
Fabric Options: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18.
Spikes: 1, 2, UK 3, 4, 5. You should be able to find these offline in cities as well. But you’ll have to do a little googling.
I have no tutorials for the bird skulls, only WIP which are above. Most reccomend some sort of modelling clay. I do have a few links for silver ones but they aren’t the same. 1, 2.
Wig: Long, thick and blond. Pale blond. She has two long strips of hair on either side and her fringe is swept to one side and cut the same length. It usually covers her left eye.
An Eowyn in Titanium, Platinium or Pale Blond is reccomended. From Arda Wigs.
You want something chunky enough to make a thick braid with without showing the wig cap beneath. Or you need an extension as well.

So it’s clearly getting colder. So her new outfit reflects that and her age. Its more mature looking as well.
Skirt: Similiar to the previous one but doesn’t appear to be of seperate pieces. The brown leather appears to be attached/sewn onto the lighter brown fur skirt. The spikes are still there but more uniform. The Skulls are now silver not white. And the pouch has switched to the left side.
Her leggings appear to be blue wraps sewn together, much like the tops are. But plain ones should be fine. The boots are taller with a thicker covering of fur in two shades. Possibly boot covers. She has leather caps on her knees.
The Top: Similiar style, but mostly plain reds. Wrap style as before. Has a slight manderin collar. The shoulder armour is the same and she wears a short, rounded fur cape/cloak thats attached with the skull clasps. A darker, greyer strip of fur is beanth it, possible attched to the shoulder armour and held together with a big metal ring.
The arm wraps are thicker again, wrapped with brown cord and are furred around the elbow with the cord continuing up her arms.
I have no patterns I’m afraid. Or tutorials really. Patterns for everything are either above in the previous ref or are not required.
You can pick up most furs at craft or fabric stores but you can find some online. For boots, ugg boots or similiar would work.
You don’t have to use real leather, pleather or vinyl works well too.
Race: Same outfit, just add some orange and blue facepaint :P

Armour tutorials see above. Same for most things.
Wig: Same colour as before. The same wig from Arda might even work. The braiding is a little more intricate this time. It’s a side braid now and theres a smaller, thinner braid that runs up (or down) from the center of her head. She wears a new plain leather headband and the fringe is less choppy and uniform, it’s layered and swept to the side.
It’s tied with a leather cord.
